By booking a studio session with Distort Films, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking & Payment

• All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date.

• The remaining balance must be paid at least 24 hours before your session begins.

• Bookings for 1/2 days must be paid in full upfront.

• Extras such as backdrop use, overtime or kit hire must be paid in advance.

2. Booking Duration & Overruns

• Your booking starts and ends at the confirmed time. Late arrivals do not extend the session.

• Set-up and pack-down must be included in your booked time.

• Overtime will be charged accordingly if your session runs beyond the booked slot.

3. Studio Conduct

• The studio must be left clean and as it was found.

• A cleaning or reset fee starting from £25 will be applied if additional work is needed post-session.

• You are fully responsible for all damage, loss, or excessive mess caused during your hire.

4. Equipment Usage

• Any gear used must be returned in its original condition.

• You are liable for repair or replacement of any damaged or missing equipment.

• Equipment cannot be removed, modified or used by untrained individuals without prior agreement.

5. Guests, Talent & Minors

• Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

• You are responsible for the behaviour and safety of all guests, crew and talent present during your session.

6. Insurance & Liability

• All clients must have their own public liability insurance to cover all persons attending the booking.

• Distort Films accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to personal belongings or hired equipment.

7. Cancellations & Rebooking

• The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

• Cancellations within 72 hours of the session will be charged in full.

• Rebooking with less than 72 hours’ notice will incur a 50% rebooking fee.

• Rebooking with more than 7 days’ notice will incur a 10% fee.

8. Studio Noise & Etiquette

• Please be respectful of our neighbouring units — noise should be kept to a reasonable level.

• We reserve the right to end any session if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.

9. Copyright & Usage

• You retain full copyright to all content created during your booking.

• Distort Films may request permission to share behind-the-scenes content or stills — this will always be agreed in writing.

10. Staff & Crew

• Clients may not directly hire, approach or solicit Distort Films staff, freelancers or collaborators without written consent.

11. Amendments

• These terms are reviewed regularly and may change. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.

12. Governing Law

All bookings and agreements are governed by the laws of England.
